Russian Grain Exports Increase by 1% in October – Russian Grain Union
In October 2024, Russia exported 7.14 million tons of grain, up by 1% compared to the same period last year.
Wheat exports reached nearly 6.5 million tons, showing a 10.8% increase from last year, while barley and corn exports declined by 31.6% and 62.5%, respectively.
From July to October, Russia exported a total of 25 million tons of grain, 13% less than last year.
Egypt was the largest buyer in October, followed by Algeria and Turkey, though exports to Turkey decreased by 45%.
New export destinations include Jordan, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and several African countries.
